#MakeItCountPBC: Mission 500 Donates Backpacks, School Supplies to Every Child at Crosspointe Elementary
 
The anticipation was palpable at Crosspointe Elementary School last Wednesday, as each student awaited their turn to receive a backpack filled with school supplies from the Mission 500 organization.

The non-profit organization has donated backpacks to students at Crosspointe for the last three years, with volunteers carefully filling backpacks with school supplies and notes of inspiration. Watch the video...

Your Penny at Work! Carver Middle School Begins School Year With New Roof  
From new roofs to weather-proofing to paving projects at schools, the School District of Palm Beach County put its share of the one-cent sales tax to use this summer.

Sales tax revenues will be used to upgrade every campus, increase school security, buy new school buses, and update and expand the District's technology. Crews worked hard to prepare campuses like Carver Middle School for the new school year. Watch the video...
