DPS Employee Wellness has an incredible fall lineup of events, challenges, trainings and workshops to support your physical, social, emotional and financial well-being. Here are a few highlights:
- Save the date and register for the free DPS Employee Back-to-School Kick-Off 5K and VIP Gear Up weekend at Boulder Running Company on Sept. 23.
- Team up with others and track your healthy habits for the HealthTrails District Team Challenge; registration opens Sept. 11.
- Make real, long-lasting lifestyle changes during the You Revolution 10-Week Challenge.
- Learn stress management and relaxation techniques in the SMART Mindfulness in Education Course.
- Earn $200 through the Well Aware Campaign. If you caught last week's Team DPS Weekly, we made a mistake; anyone enrolled in DPS benefits -- a Consumer Driven Health Plan or Deductible HMO -- can earn $200 for completing an online health risk assessment and your annual preventive screening.

The Commons, DPS' employee intranet, recently reached 1 million page views and, this year, our goal is to make it even easier for you to find the resources you need. Check out these new updates:

Google search: Use the search bar to the right of The Commons logo to find departments or teams, org charts, documents and other resources.
- Team DPS news: You'll still receive the Team DPS Weekly recap each Thursday, but check the homepage of The Commons throughout the week for internal news.

Discount Alert: Tickets to The Snowy Day and RENT
Check out "
The Snowy Day"
at the Denver Center for Performing Arts (DCPA); $15 tickets are available for Saturday performances, Sept. 23-Oct. 8. "
The Snowy Day" is inspired by Ezra Jack Keats' acclaimed children's books and follows the adventures of young Peter as he explores the world around him.
The DCPA has also reserved a very limited number of tickets to shows for the 20th anniversary tour of "RENT," Jonathan Larson's hit Broadway musical. Tickets are available to DPS supporters for
$35 for the Nov. 15 and Nov. 16 performances. Get your tickets for both shows here; a portion of every ticket sold will benefit the DPS Foundation.
