We welcome (l-r) Romy and Odelle Mizrahi, Liam Levenstein and Shirel Karo (not pictured) in addition to lead teacher Jamie Novick(r) and assistant Sarah Sebit(l). We look forward to even more students joining the class in January!
WE KNEADED THIS
A number of our High Schoolers attended a Shabbaton last weekend and the administration decided to create
a special day of learning for the remaining students. High Schoolers were able to select classes that appealed in terms of topics of discussion and activity. This included Challah Baking, Learning about Megillat Esther, Coping with Stress, Election Decompression, Interviewing Skills to name a few. (l-r) Tali Miller and Ariel Schneider.
TOUCHY FEELY
Morah Esther's EC2 class is learning about fall and exploring different items in their sensory bins such as gourds and leaves. (l-r) Billie Aronov, Rhonda Harari, Emma Saar and Yael Agranov.
LIGHTNING SPEED Students in Ms. Bigham's class studied the Cheetah and together created a project of their work with an engaging puppet show depicting their findings. (l-r) Ella Navon, Nitzan Yanir, Lexie Brown, Talia Goldfine, Ariana Ackerman. COUNTING ON YOU Morah Aviva assists Evey Murchison as she organizes her numbers and counts to 20 with Natalie Cohen (r) waiting for her turn and Shayna Melnik (l) looking on.
ISRAEL EDUCATED Juniors and Seniors have welcomed a variety of Yeshiva and Seminary representatives these past few weeks as they navigate selecting the right program in Israel following graduation. Below, the boys are meeting with a representative from Lev HaTorah.
MAGNETIC SMILE Orli Goldstein in EC4 enjoys one of the many new manipulatives and puzzles purchased for our EC classrooms this year. PROUDLY REPRESENTING
Akiva Levy, Adam Hoffman, Maya Wadler, Brian Shepetofsky and chaperone Rafi Engelhart
participated
in the
AIPAC High School Summit. Adam shared some insight into the trip, "The AIPAC Summit was more than just one experience, it was an opportunity to build on tools that will last me well into my college career. I was able to learn how to deter detractors, combat BDS on campus, lobby my congressmen, and a wealth of other relevant answers to today's challenges. Personally, I was most touched and motivated by the words of Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks who spoke of his own connection to Israel and our common obligation to support the Jewish State. The AIPAC Schusterman Summit really was an incredible conference of education, training, networking, and commitment."
