2017 Equity Symposium Connects Mindsets, Relationships, and Innovations to Student Agency

Join educational leaders, teachers, and community stakeholders for the second Equity Symposium on Sept. 7 and 8 in San Diego, where district and site teams will work together to eliminate  opportunity and achievement gaps for all students.

The event features three nationally recognized keynote speakers: Dr. Anthony Muhammad, CEO of New Frontier 21, Liz Murray, i nspirational speaker and author of  Breaking Night: A Memoir of Forgiveness, Survival, and My Journey from Homeless to Harvard, and George Couros, author of  The Innovator's Mindset: Empower Learning, Unleash Talent, and Lead a Culture of Creativity. 

The two-day annual event features best practices from districts across the state, next-step planning time for district and site teams, and learning sessions for superintendents, principals, teachers, counselors, and more.
