60th Anniversary Logo Unveiled
We will be celebrating our 60th Anniversary through the year 2017, honoring the legacy and tradition of our four schools: St. Petersburg Catholic, Bishop Barry, Notre Dame Academy, and St. Paul's. Please mark your calendars for our

Baron Gala 2017 Theme Unveiled
On March 25th, 2017, we will be celebrating our
15th Annual Baron Gala. This year's theme is
A Night at the Opera!
Each year, we attract as many as 350 people for cocktails and dinner in the
St. John Bosco Center For The Arts. The Baron Gala provides an enjoyable atmosphere for alumni, parents, and friends to mingle and bid on over 100 silent-auction items and 10 live-auction items.

Deanna Henriott Ginty '07
Congratulations to
Deanna Henriott Ginty '07 for being inducted to The University of Tampa Hall of Fame for her academic and athletic achievements!
Deanna played softball for the Spartans from 2008-12. A two-time All-American, as she was named second-team in 2011 and 2012 as a pitcher. She was also named the 2012 Daktronics South Region Pitcher of the Year, while being a three-time first-team all-South Region selection in 2008, 2011, and 2012. She was honored as the 2012 Sunshine State Conference Pitcher of the Year and was four-time all-SSC selection. A first-team all-SSC choice in 2009, 2011, and 2012, she was a member of the second-team in 2008. Her academic success also landed her on the CoSIDA Academic first-team all-district team in 2011 and 2012. She finished her UT career with two perfect games and eight no-hitters. She remains the UT program leader with 88 wins, nine saves, 133 appearances, 97 complete games, 41, shutouts and 1,100 strikeouts. She also ranks second with 797.0 innings pitched, third with 107 games started and fourth in lowest ERA (1.17).

Dr. Zepp, Director of Advancement, ran into Chris Davis '02, FSU '06, and retired NFL star at the Academy Prep
Secondary School Showcase! Chris was a 4th round draft pick in the 2007 NFL Draft.

#Spotted - Rich Lyons '69 (BB) & The Marty Lyons Foundation
The Florida Chapter of the Marty Lyons Foundation
hosted its 11th Annual John Brogle Golf Outing with proceeds fulfilling wishes for children. Marty Lyons '75 played football at The University of Alabama
and with the New York Jets.
He has been inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame
and recognized in 2011 with the Heisman Humanitarian Award. The tournament is named after John Brogle '62 (BB), who was one of Marty's coaches at SPC. Pictured is Dr. Zepp, Director of Advancement, with Rich Lyons '69 (BB), Marty's brother, who serves as President of the Florida Chapter of the Marty Lyons Foundation.

Assistant Secretary of State John F. Kirby '81 Visits St. Pete Catholic
More than 500 members of the St. Petersburg Catholic High School community, including students, parents, faculty, staff, and top benefactors, visited with distinguished alumnus
John F. Kirby '81, Assistant Secretary of State for Public Affairs, RDML, USN (ret.) on September 14th.
During his visit, Assistant Secretary Kirby joined student government leaders and members of the student body for an intimate lunch, then spoke to a general assembly of students, parents, faculty, and staff at the St. John Bosco Center for the Arts. Later in the evening, Assistant Secretary Kirby spoke to top benefactors at the school's annual President's Reception.

Alumni All Souls Mass
On October 30th, we came together as a family to honor our deceased alumni at the
Alumni All Souls Mass
.
We hosted alumni from St. Petersburg Catholic, Bishop Barry, Notre Dame Academy, and St. Paul's. Pictured to the right is our Praise Band, our student performing arts group, who served at the alumni mass.

Annual Canned Food Drive
We hosted our Annual Canned Food Drive this November to benefit the Daystar Life Center, who will distribute food to the needy in our area for the year. This year, our students raised over 27,000 cans, including over $7,900 in donations to fight hunger!

Have you driven by us on 9th Ave N recently? Over the few weeks, we have been cutting back the brush and opening up our campus to see the beautiful facade of Bishop Barry Hall from the road!
