A baby girl is on the way!  Join us from 2-4 pm in the Fellowship Hall TODAY as we honor Tyler and Kayla Mewbourne with a baby shower.    They are registered at Walmart and Target.

 
Bartow Family Resources
Bartow Family Resources is collecting crockpots for cooking classes for homeless clients in the community.  If you are interested in helping, please place a crock-pot on the ladies gift table or make a donation (labeled BFR Crockpot). Men's Ministry Low Country Boil
All men are invited to fellowship, play corn hole, and enjoy a low country boil at Todd Parker's house (261 Simpson Road NE, White) on Saturday, October 21st at 4 pm.  Sign up at the Welcome Desk.

 
Worship Workshop
Are you interested in serving with the music ministry at OHBC? Join us for a Worship Workshop on October 22nd from 12:30-4:00pm! We'll have lunch together in the Fellowship Hall & worship together afterwards in the Sanctuary. Sign up at the Welcome Desk.
 
WMU Luncheon
All ladies are invited to attend the WMU Luncheon October 26th at 11 am in the Fellowship Hall. Laura Christ will be our guest speaker.  Please sign up at the Welcome Desk if you would like to attend.
 
Halloween Outreach
Take a look at the 3 ways to get involved in OHBC's Halloween Outreach on October 31st:
  1. Hand out Candy & Tracts from Home - If you have children that trick-or-treat at your house on Halloween, OHBC will provide bags & tracts beginning October 15th at the Welcome Desk - Please add candy.
  2. Volunteer to serve at the Hamilton Crossing Park Festival - OHBC will have booths with games, an evangelism booth, as well as assisting with concessions. - Please signup at the Welcome Desk
  3. Donate Candy for the Hamilton Crossing Festival. 
Night of Life
The Bartow Family Resources is hosting their Night of Life Fundraising Dinner at the Lakepoint Champion Center on Tuesday, November 7th and they are needing volunteers to help set up on Monday, 11/06 as well as to serve on Tuesday, 11/07.  Please make plans to get involved and signup through the sign up sheet at the Welcome Desk or through this link www.nightoflife.info/volunteer.
 
Awana Grand Prix
Awana will be hosting its Annual Grand Prix on Saturday, November 11th from 9am - 11am in the Fellowship Hall.  Register at the Welcome Desk by October 29th to participate.   (Car kits are available for $5)  There will be open classes for all ages (including adults!)  *Car building workshops will be held on Saturday, Oct 28th and Nov 4th from 9am-Noon in the Ministry Center.
 
Operation Christmas Child
OHBC is partnering with Samaritan's Purse to send gift filled shoeboxes to children around the world.  After receiving a shoebox, children will have the opportunity to enroll in "The Greatest Journey", a 12 lesson Bible Study Course guiding them through what it means to faithfully follow Jesus Christ.  Fill a shoebox and turn it in at the OCC table outside the sanctuary by November 19th.   Visit the OCC table for more information.
