It’s great to be back! I was gone for my summer break and I’m happy to catch up on all that God is doing in and through this place. I’m thankful to be part of a Christ-centered church for all people, where the gospel is continually transforming lives, renewing our city and changing the world.
What a busy summer of ministry already!
Let me catch you up on what has been happening:
- 70 students enjoyed the Color Wars Outreach
- Pine Ridge Student Service Team returned from working at Red Cloud Indian school (National Partners)
- 130+ kids attended our Chicago Eagles Soccer Camps (12 kids
trusted Christ!)
- Middle School students were able to serve at Camp Tuesday in
various capacities
- Mini-libraries were given to Eagle Point Elementary School (Local Partner)
- Haiti Student Service Team leaves this month to help at Mission of Hope Haiti (Global Partner)
- Middle School students are getting ready to serve at Madison Missions (playing with kids, feeding the hungry, visiting the elderly, stocking food pantries and being the hands and feet of Jesus in other ways)

WOW - a lot is going on! Thanks for serving, thanks for praying and thanks for giving…without you these things don’t happen.
Quick update: As we approach the end of the ministry year, August 31, we are behind, which is not unusual. In order to meet our ministry commitments, we need $480,000. Thanks for remembering the needs of the church! You can give online anytime.

PS: My daughter Claire has had a great week. Thanks for praying for her and please continue to pray. Her radiation treatments start in two weeks.
