Smooth Sailing Ahead For Seacoast Specialty Marine As They Relocate to Newburyport.

NEWBURYPORT - Greg Dolan is a world-class competitive sailor and likely doesn't have too many stories to share about his vessels running aground.

He recently opened Seacoast Specialty Marine and is spending his days dealing with amateur boat owners who have problems with their hulls, keels or perhaps the ship's rigging.

The small business is hosting an open house at 4 p.m. today, Aug. 23, at its space at 14 Graf Road, which suggests the company has formally docked in Newburyport after several decades in Winthrop.

" We love Newburyport, and we're very fortunate to find a space that is large enough for the work we do," Dolan said of the good fortune that he and his business partner, Pamela Pearson, have encountered here.
