 MISSIONS

New Christian Movie:
"Same Kind of Different As Me" is an incredible true story out of North Texas, in connection with our mission partner, Union Gospel Mission in Ft Worth.  Also, one of our LWLC member's daughter is married into the family portrayed in the movie.  So our church has a double connection to this movie.  After seeing the movie you will probably want to join our team from LWLC to serve dinner at the Union Gospel Mission twice a month.  God just might do something amazing through you that will become a movie someday.   In theaters nationwide starting October 20th.  See the link below for more information, and to watch the trailer.

Rise Against Hunger Event
Join us Saturday, October 21st, from 9:45 AM to noon, as we put together 20,000 meals that will be shipped to hungry people around the world.  We will need over 100 volunteers working at assembly lines in the Family Life Center. Child care will be available.  This is the perfect event to invite your unchurched friends and neighbors to attend. We will need help with set-up, clean-up, and childcare.
