+ noisy offering
Because of the number of hurricanes and other natural disasters which have occurred in the last two months, and the catastrophic damage they have brought, we are designating this Sunday's Noisy Offering to Lutheran Disaster Response. LDR is an ELCA ministry which works to accompany communities which have experienced disaster, bringing both short- and long-term relief. "Lutheran Disaster Response strives to help the church continue to be church in the midst of disaster - following Christ's call to bring hope and healing to our neighbor in need." Designated giving to LDR goes 100% to that response, providing relief until all disaster needs are met. This can take years; LDR is committed to accompanying communities until they are whole again. Our offering this week will be designated for areas hit by Hurricanes Irma and Maria (Florida, Georgia, Puerto Rico, Haiti, Cuba, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and other locations in the Caribbean). Thank you for your generosity!

Hand Bell Choir rings this Sunday!
Nativity's Hand Bell Choir makes their fall debut this Sunday under the direction of
Amber Wollner. Come enjoy the joyful sounds this special choir brings to worship.
|
We will meet at Trinity View at
4:00 PM on Sunday, Oct 22nd. You are invited to wear costumes! (But they are not required.) We will trick-or-treat and then we will head back to Nativity. If there's extra time before dinner, we'll play some games, otherwise, we will go straight in for dinner! Pick up afterwards will be at
6:15 as usual. There will be NO Young Youth Choir that day.
**Parents - please stay at Trinity View during trick-or-treating so that you can drive your children back to Nativity afterwards. You're then welcome to drop them off for dinner and return for them at 6:15.
