Dear Parishioners of St. Peter's,
We may not have an official "minister" at St. Peter's at the moment, but we all, collectively, are continuing in our ministry at St. Peter's. As a congregation, we continue to pray, work and discern together. I am very thankful that we have such dedicated parishioners who keep our communal and our spiritual lives nourished. Plans for our future community activities are proceeding at a dizzying pace. We are gearing up for the opening of St. Peter's Nursery School. There's an Open House this coming Saturday, August 26th from 10 AM until noon. Come by for a visit and lend your support. It's going to be an excellent new program, coupled with our regular Mother's Day Out. The program begins on September 11. Final preparations are being made for the Harvest Hoedown scheduled for September 9th from 6:00 - 11:00 PM. Please sell your tickets that were mailed to you previously. We're still looking for help to set-up, decorate, and serve the catered dinner. You can also donate items for the silent auction. For questions, call the church office at 301-349-2073. Our next fundraiser meeting is August 27th after the 9:30 service. Vacation Bible School will occur the week of August 28th. Contact Carole Bailer (301) 874-8475 for additional information.

10:00-12:30 once a week, people to be on our substitute list for when our regular volunteers have schedule conflicts, and people to shop once a month over the weekend at Costco or Sams Club.
