Invisible Killer: The Monster Behind the Mask,
by Diana Montane & Sean Robbins
(TitleTown Publishing, September, 2013)
The family and friends of Michelle Lynn Jones, who was murdered by serial killer Charlie Brandt, will appear on "Dr. Phil" to speak about the gruesome death of the beloved victim.
Brandt, now deceased, killed his eight-month pregnant mother in a bathtub and tried to kill his father and his older sister, Angela, when he was thirteen years old. Once the police took Brandt into custody, he was admitted into a mental institution for one year, but no specific diagnosis was made. When Brandt was released, his father moved the family from Fort Wayne, IN to Florida to start a new life.
On September 13, 2004, Charlie Brandt took the life of his wife, Teri Brandt, and her niece, Michelle Jones. He then took his own life. Florida law enforcement was able to link Brandt to other unsolved homicides. It is currently unknown how many people Brandt killed during the twenty years he operated invisibly.
Angela's ex-husband Jim Graves, Brandt's older sister Debbie Wheeler, and Michelle's best friend Peggy Moore will also appear on the show
