Dear God of Love,
May we give thanks for the divinity within us this Thanksgiving and in all of nature that is a live. As we behold the God within every living creature may we deeply honor the sacred in all of life. We give thanks for the blessing of  companionship as we break bread with friends and family. We ask for our human family to learn to share our food and resources so everyone can eat and live a life of dignity. We ask to give up selfishness, greed and self-centeredness that has become a cancer in our society. May we remember to call upon you gracious God when we need your help. Fill us with gratitude this Thanksgiving season, as we give thanks for the miracle of the seasons and the mysterious life cycles of birth, death and rebirth and our interconnectedness with all life.  Thank you
for our home, Mother earth and the magnificent food for our bodies, our minds and our spirits.  Thank you for the sky with the moon, the stars and vast galaxies.  Thank you for the sunrise and sunset, for the oceans and mountains, the animals and plants, for all of nature that is alive and sacred. Thank you for the wind and air and every breath we take. We give thanks for our dreams and visions and how you lure and persuade us into goodness and
our highest potential.  May we use this time of national and global crisis as an invitation for spiritual growth. Guide us to raise our consciousness about the urgency of climate change and caring for our sacred home Mother Earth in love, creativity and dedication. May we feel your holy presence within us, around us and in the celebration gratitude. We give thanks and praise. Amen
