Run Boy Run: PVUMC Community Concert TONIGHT

Change the World Day, Sunday, November 13

Memorial Service of Light, November 20

Run Boy Run Performs TONIGHT
We invite you to join us TONIGHT for Run Boy Run at 7 pm in the sanctuary. Run Boy Run's all-acoustic format blends bluegrass and folk, rooted in the traditional music of the Appalachian South.  PVUMC Community Concerts like this one offer an opportunity to hear great music while reaching out the community. It's just one of the ways to be God's love in action. Register on Eventbrite and invite a friend via social media.
Pastor's Message

Dear Friends in Faith,

With all that happens in our world, we’re often asking ourselves, “What can we do to make the world a better place?” This Sunday, we are committed to doing just that.

We will all be rolling up our sleeves to be God’s love in action at our annual Change the World Day, beginning at 8 am. We will take our love for God and express that in the most tangible way possible, by serving and helping others.

I know how good it feels when we give ourselves and make even a corner of God’s world a better place. Recently, The Center for the Future of Arizona released some fascinating information on volunteering. The best country in the world for volunteers? Turkenistan, where 60% of people volunteer. The worst?  Egypt, where only 4% volunteer. Here in the US, it is 46% nationwide, and a bit lower in Arizona. You can help that percentage improve, this very weekend!

Memorial Service of Light
