Social isolation and loneliness affect the health and quality of life of many Edmonton seniors. It's heartening to know that many organizations are striving to identify, connect and support isolated seniors.

We're excited that so many organizations want to share information about their efforts to address social isolation of seniors. Join us on December 1 to hear about a variety of initiatives focused on topics such as culturally-responsive outreach, transportation, intergenerational programming, community connectors, LGBTQ seniors, peer support, and connecting and engaging seniors. Review the showcase topics guide for more information on the approximately 20 initiatives that will be featured at the showcase.
