Retirement Planning Specialist Visits

We hear from participants all the time who would like to know when Retirement Planning Specialists will be in their area? They travel all over the state of Ohio to meet with Ohio DC participants to review their retirement accounts and to help inform them about what they can do to take control of their financial future. See a copy of the schedule here and print off a copy for your staff.
Understanding Investment Products
Investing for retirement can be a confusing and often overwhelming process for many people. Investors are often put off by financial jargon that is used in informational materials, while others think the entire concept of retirement planning is stressful. We want to try to make sure our participants, your employees, don't feel this way, so we're doing research to learn more about what participants know about investing. Learn more  here.

Deferred Compensation Terms

Our Retirement Planning Specialists

Did you know Ohio DC has Retirement Planning Specialists (RPS) in house to help our participants plan for retirement. They are Chartered Financial Consultants who have a wealth of detailed retirement planning knowledge. They can teach participants about the Ohio pension systems, Social Security, and their Deferred Compensation options. If your staff's pension and/or Social Security income won't be enough to cover everything in retirement, our Retirement Planning Specialists will help them build a plan to bridge any gaps in their retirement income.

Retirement Planning Specialists are here to help participants determine retirement income needs, evaluate current finances in regard to retirement, simplify retirement savings by combining assets, defer sick and vacation leave from final paychecks, and choose the best distribution option. Go  here  for more information about our RPSs.
