Launching ...
Our first event on June 4th, "Family Boat Play Day" , hosted by Cape Cod Maritime Museum, marked the launch of Cape Cod Toy Library. The event was featured in the Cape Cod Times

While we await acquisition of a space to call home for Cape Cod Toy Library we especially appreciate opportunities to be present out in the community!

We've since launched a brand new website, where you can find out how you can help Cape Cod Toy Library become all that you'd like it to be for the Cape.

Great appreciation goes to Cape Cod Maritime Museum , Executive Director Chris Galazzi, and the museum staff for their inviting collaborative spirit and their help preparing for the event.
Community Support & Volunteer Spotlight

Family Boat Play Day was truly a success because of the many volunteers and community contributions! Thanks to Cultural Center of Cape Cod , Truro & Sandwich Libraries , and Cape Cod Lighthouse Charter School as sites for community presentations and to Early Childhood Network and Sandwich Partnership for Families for spreading the word. Thanks to Brewster General Store , Mermaids on Main , Oyster River Boat Yard , Red Balloon Toy Store , Snow's Home & Garden , and Where the Sidewalk Ends Bookstore for donations of play materials.

Thank you, Dinah Millan , for playing your fiddle, bringing music to our event - an inviting welcome to all! Appreciation to Mary Wilson for inviting us to join her on the Hyannis Village Green in May to help promote Cape Cod Toy Library and her suggestions for media promotions which resulted in a great article in the Cape Cod Times . Much gratitude to Kristen Carbone Berner for planning activities, recruiting volunteers, and helping with community promotions. Thanks to Jen Eldredge Stello for her photos that capture children 's exploratory play and learning through their discoveries .
