CSG West's officers met in Sacramento in October to provide guidance to staff in planning for the next biennium. Among other meeting outcomes, the officers identified the eight policy committees CSG West will support during the biennium, and the leadership of those committees.
CSG West Executive Director Edgar Ruiz recently participated in the first meeting of the reconstituted National Integrated Drought Information System (NIDIS) Executive Council in Washington, D.C. NIDIS offers valuable resources for state leaders who are planning for a future in which western drought is no longer rare, and CSG West's membership in the Executive Council can help ensure western legislatures have a voice in this important group.

SHARE YOUR SUCCESS STORY!
CSG West is seeking to highlight our members and their contributions to their states and the West. We have launched a Regional Roundup feature called "The Western Perspective" to provide a forum for legislators and constitutional officers to share their legislative success stories. Be sure to check out the most recent Western Perspective, by Colorado House Majority Leader Crisanta Duran.
If you would like to share your bipartisan success story with legislators and others across the West, contact Jeff Miller at CSG West.
