CHAMBER NEWS
ENGAGING * CONNECTING * COLLABORATING
Dear NCC Members, Board of Directors and Stakeholders:
The Thanksgiving Holidays are upon us, and we'd like to remind all NCC members to be sure to continue to make the extra effort to support each other during this very busy spending season. We also want to remind everyone in the Valley community to get out and support ALL local business owners on  Small Business Saturday (November 26th).  Last year, approximately  100 Million  people throughout the U.S. went to shop at local businesses, and this year we hope to engage even more.

Don't forget to register early for the last Leads Over Lunch (Friday, December 9th) and Business After Hours of the year. BAH will take place on Thursday, December 15th at Kitchen Collective.

Join us in welcoming our host of new members, and remember to engage, connect, and collaborate during the holiday season and throughout the coming New Year.

We thank you for your continued and unwavering support, and remind each of you that "your membership is always our privilege."

Happy Thanksgiving!

NEWS FROM OUR MEMBERS
Small Business Saturday

The Napa Chamber of Commerce  is proud to support Small Business Saturday®, the day founded in 2010 to celebrate small local businesses.   We all have favorite small businesses we love.  Maybe it's the boutique that carries emerging designers or the cafe where they know exactly how you take your coffee.
Here's what you can do to support these businesses:
  • Spread the word about shopping at the small businesses you love. Encourage your friends and family to #ShopSmall too.
  • Make sure to visit the small businesses in your neighborhood on Nov 26, the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
  • Explore more ideas on how to take part in Small Business Saturday at ShopSmall.com.
So get out there this Nov 26 and #ShopSmall to make an impact in your community

Businesses Helping Veterans

To recognize and appreciate our local veterans, the Napa Chamber of Commerce has partnered with the Napa County Veterans Advocacy Coalition to take part in a unique and very important program. We're asking business owners to participate in a pilot program to provide special discounts on goods and services to Napa County Veterans that have a Napa County issued veterans card or a California DMV special designation driver's license. The businesses will have the opportunity to proudly display a sign showing their support for veterans (see link below). We know that with your support we can make a small difference in the lives of those that risked everything for us.
Gift Card Drive for Teens - Lilliput Children's Services

With Christmas fast approaching, teens in our kinship families often go forgotten during the holidays. Our kinship caregivers who come to our toy shops for children often find a larger selection of items for the younger kids than the older. This year we are holding a gift card drive so that we have enough available for the teens we serve. Please see link below:
