Member in the News: Congratulations to Eric Rudney
The 17th annual Cancer Support Community Gala, An Evening of Hope & Healing, will take place September 23rd at the Blackhawk Automotive Museum.  T his elegant evening will present U.S. Congressman Mark DeSaulnier with the Spirit of Hope award and Eric Rudney with the Spirit of Healing award Eric Rudney  will be the 2017 Spirit of Healing Honoree.  Eric Rudney is the Founder and President of Rudney Associates, an investment advisory firm located in Alamo, and is a leader in philanthropy and community service in the East Bay.  Eric serves on Cancer Support Community's Board of Directors and he chairs the capital campaign for CSC's new visionary campus for healing, which will be introduced at the gala.

An active community and Chamber member, Eric was the 2015 UXL recipient of  Citizen of the Year presented by the Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau and a generous supporter of the East Bay Women's Conference.

To help retailers prepare for the 2017 holidays, NRF surveyed over 2,000 holiday shoppers to understand their experiences and behavior during the 2016 season and what they expect from retailers moving forward. Along with data highlighting consumer expectations, the report provides suggestions for retailers to consider when planning for the season.

Member in the News: Aquanuts Got Talent!
Over 100 athletes, coaches and parent volunteers collaborate each year to put on the Walnut Creek Aquanuts   Fall Synchronized Swimming Show which takes place over Labor Day weekend .  This year will mark the  49th anniversary  of this iconic show which showcases synchronized swimming in a theatrical format complete with lights, props, a monumental 3-D stage and glittering costumes. Again this year, we will feature a Jumbo screen as a back drop to enhance the special effects.
