We can't believe Thanksgiving is already here! During this time we are thankful for a lot, but we are especially thankful for your continued support. Without you, the SportsPlex wouldn't be where it is today. Here are this week's announcements.

Monday, November 28th: Cedar Valley Soccer begins in the Field House @      6:30 PM. The hallway doors will be locked during this time. Please stop by the front desk to have hallway access made available on your membership card.

 

Tuesday, November 29th: Gym closing @ 3 PM for Waterloo East Girls Basketball Game

Friday, December 2nd: SportsPlex Closing @ 6 PM for a rental.

Mission Fit is a 10-week long program set up with three different options to meet your needs. Pre and post measurements, weigh ins and physical testing will keep you motivated and pushing towards your goals. Exercises incorporating strength and circuit training are the focus to aide in functional fitness level, making everyday life safer and happier. Click here for more information!

Healthy for the Holidays

Statistics show that the average person will gain anywhere from 3-7 pounds over the holidays!  The Cedar Valley SportsPlex is here to help you avoid becoming a part of this statistic.
Participants who join the Healthy for the Holidays Program will receive weekly emails offering 3-4 workouts to complete at your convenience, tips from our instructors, as well as nutritional content.
Maintain or drop weight over the  5 weeks and receive a free Cedar Valley SportsPlex T-Shirt!
Weigh in availability:  Nov. 22nd & 23rd 5 AM - 7 PM




Cedar Valley Elite Baseball & Softball Academy
The Cedar Valley SportsPlex and Build Our Ballpark have teamed up to create an opportunity for boys and girls aged 12-18 who want to take their game to the next level. It's called the Cedar Valley Elite Baseball/Softball Academy. It will be offered for eight Sundays starting November 27 at the Cedar Valley SportsPlex in downtown Waterloo. Softball will be offered from 8:00 AM to 9:45 AM, baseball will be offered from 9:45 AM to 11:45 AM. 
The registration deadline is November 20th. Registration is $175 - or $150 for SportsPlex members - and includes a jacket.


Indoor Duathlon
December 3rd, 2016 we are hosting an indoor duathlon. Choose between an endurance heat or a sprint heat while spots are still available. Starting at 7:30 and 9:00 AM participants will have the opportunity to run and bike alongside others. Only $20 for members and $25 for non-members.

Youth Programming
Youth Basketball  registration for 4th-6th girls and 5th-6th boys is open. This program will include basic fundamental instruction through team practices and league play. Participants will take part in a skills assessment on November 28th and then be placed on a team for league and tournament play. Girls Skills Assessment will be at 6:00 PM and boys will follow at 7:00 PM at Central. Program meets on Monday evenings and Saturday mornings between 9AM and noon. 
Registration deadline is November 23rd.
