#LoveThyNeighbor

One of the ways Trinity, Villa Park, IL, is striving to love their neighbor is through their work with Voice of Care Ministry. Deaconess Kris Blackwell leads this important ministry to developmentally disabled adults. Recently, Trinity hosted a bingo party for 21 Voice of Care clients. Trinity is continuing to develop relationships with these folks, inviting them and sometimes bringing them to worship, congregational events and leading Bible studies in their homes with the aid and encouragement of Deaconess Kris. One day, they hope to have a bus with a wheelchair lift so that they can better transport disabled people in the community to church services and events.

Redeemer Robotics
Congratulations to the robotics team at Redeemer Lutheran School, Oakmont, PA! What a great day for the robotics team! In just their second year, they increased their points by 340 over last year and moved to 11th place out of 20 schools. They made it to the wild-card round, too. The theme from BEST was farming. Competitor's robots needed to pick corn, pick vegetables, round up tiny pigs and put them in a pen and turn on a water valve. They also had to put a marketing strategy together and design an exhibit for people to visit. The team's exhibit included a game for visitors to play. Well done!

International Festival
The International Fest at Bethesda International Academy, Chicago, IL, was a wonderful evening of good food, fellowship and fun! Volunteers made it happen, as well as the parents who jumped in to help. The teachers were also instrumental in making the night a big success!

Check it out!
Library days are special because Martin Luther Christian School's students get to relax and select interesting books to take home!

Dear Friends,

Greetings in Christ! We pray that you are well and filled with the peace that flows from Christ. God keep you in His grace!  Amen.

We are sorry this newsletter is a little late. We are in the midst of traveling and then, to top it off, we are having problems with the email program we use. But, it is here and we are glad to share it with you.

As we always ask, please find us a space on the church bulletin board so that we can get our information and prayer requests before as many eyes as possible. Thanks for your help with this.

If you are going to be in one of the places we are visiting, please make sure to come and introduce yourself. It is always nice to put a face with a name!

We commend you to Christ,
