GET YOUR WORKSITE RECOGNIZED

This is a first come first serve program that will run until the funds have been exhausted. We will be recognizing worksites that have established a foundation for worksite wellness and have implemented strategies to address  food and beverages, tobacco, physcial activity and well-being (formerly mental health and stress management)  Those that qualify for recognition will be able to choose from a number of items that support a healthy worksite environment.

All worksites applying for recognition must have had at least one wellness committee member/employee that has attended the workshop for the topic they are seeking recognition for.

OUR GOAL  is to recognize dozens of worksites that are utilizing comprehensive strategies to support and improve employee health.

EACH WORKSITE  can receive up to 5 recognition items. (One for each category they qualify for) These include beverage dispensers/difusers, bike racks, indoor and outdoor walking trail signage, raised garden beds and more!

Check the below criteria to see if your worksite qualifies and what items are available.

BCBS of Kansas & Dillons Partner to Provide Free Flu Shots!
The holidays are fast approaching, and so is flu season. For a second consecutive year, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas and Dillons are partnering to provide no-cost flu shots for all Kansans - ages six and older - who want to enjoy the holidays with families and friends without the worry of bringing home, or spreading, the flu.

Beginning Nov. 5 and through Nov. 13, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas is sponsoring flu shots at 57 Dillons pharmacies in 27 different communities, stretching from Colby to Leavenworth and Manhattan to Arkansas City.

Kansans will find it simple to get a flu shot at no cost.

This is a great opportunity for those without insurance to receive protection from the flu without having to pay for the shot. For those with insurance who normally would owe a copay or coinsurance for a flu shot, Blue Cross will pick up that cost - no matter which insurance carrier the Kansan has coverage through.
Would Your Community Like to Host a Workshop?
We are working on our 2017 workshop schedule.  These workshops are open to not only worksites within the host community, but in the region of the state in which they are taking place.   If you would like to see a workshop in your community, reach out to your WorkWell KS Champion! Not sure who your Champion is, contact WorkWell KS directly.
