The ILS Memorandum of Understanding with the New York Bar International Section is Available
On September 26, 2016, the ILS and the International Section of the New York State Bar signed a Memorandum of Understanding to formalize their ongoing cooperation efforts. "This Memorandum comes at the end of two years of growing informal cooperation. We look forward to further developing the relationship to take advantage of the natural synergies shared by our two organizations", commented Al Lindsay, Chair of the ILS. ILS Members at the Fall Meeting of the ABA Section of International Law
ILS members took part in the 2016 Fall Meeting of the American Bar Association Section of International Law that was held from October 18-21, 2016, at the Tokyo Hilton, Tokyo, Japan. Ed Mullins, past Chair of the ILS, moderated a panel entitled "The Ballad of East and West: Will Local Approaches to Litigation Affect TPP Investment Cases?" Peter Quinter, also a past Chair of the ILS, moderated a panel on the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). ILS member Christine Marlewski was a presenter in the TPP panel

Glenn Cooper Presents at Miami Association of Realtors Congress
ILS Member Glenn M. Cooper, a shareholder in GrayRobinson's Miami and Fort Lauderdale offices, presented at the Miami Association of Realtors International Real Estate Congress on October 30-November 1, 2016. He presented as part of a panel titled, "EB5 and EB2 Visas." The International Real Estate Congress features over 80 foreign delegates from 13 countries and hundreds of realtors from South Florida and the United States. The Congress connects the world's top realtors with powerful industry speakers and important market information.
