Asia

November 1-7
Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Nepal, One Health Awareness Week, organized by Relief International.  Each country's events are slightly different.



November 3  
Bhutan One Health Strategy Plan - 2016, Thimpu, Bhutan, organized by the One Health Fellowship Program (Massey U).  The Bhutan One Health Strategy Plan will be submitted to the government cabinet for approval on 3rd November. If approved, a One Health Secretariat will be instituted in the country which will cater to all One Health needs of the country like research, training and inclusion of one health curriculum in relevant institutions, joint disease outbreak investigations and surveillance, prevention and control of zoonotic diseases.


November 3   
Global One Health Day at Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Chittagong, Bangladesh, Organized by One Health Institute, Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences. Two scientific sessions in the program : i) research activities on zoonotic diseases and One Health promotional thoughts and plans will be presented from different institutions, ii) A work-shop will be held to share professional opinions and views on possible structure of a graduate program in One Health.



December 3  
'One Health Day in Pakistan', organized by Pak One Health Alliance, A One Health seminar will be part of a sensitization campaign  targeting  major national decision makers /stakeholders for 'One Health'  adoption and promotion.



Europe

October 6-7 
'European OneHealth / EcoHealth Workshop', Brussels, Belgium, organized by Belgian Biodiversity Platform & Belgian Community of Practice Biodiversity & Health. In order to not limit the focus beforehand, the OneHealth and the EcoHealth concept were deliberately combined illustrating the aim to go beyond narrow and restricted framings of integrative concepts focusing on connections and bridge building rather than fences.




November 3  
'Students connecting through One Health- Fusion of human and veterinary medicine', Berlin, Germany, organized by students volunteering for Vétérinaires Sans Frontières- Germany in partnership with IVSA (International Veterinary Student Association). The presentations will give the participants an overview of tuberculosis as a zoonosis and the importance of milk for Pastoralists, as well as an insight into the concept of One Health.



November 15-17  
MediLabSecure Regional Meeting and Technical Workshop on Public Health, Belgrade, Serbia, organized by Institute Pasteur, Countries represented will be Albania, Armenia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Georgia, Kosovo, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine.  Crimean-Congo Haemorrhagic Fever (CCHF) virus is a priority in this Region. The meeting will address clinical, entomological, epidemiological, diagnostic as well as human and animal health aspects of CCHF.



Oceania

November 3 
'One Health Day - Geelong, Australia', organized by CSIRO-Australian Animal Health Laboratory using One Health Day to inform Geelong and surrounds on what this partnership right there in the City of Greater Geelong is doing to protect people, animals and the environment from diseases that can spread between animals and humans.



November 3 
'One Health: Acting as One',  Townsville, Queensland, organized by James Cook University, a panel-led discussion on how discipline specific expertise could contribute to the better management of a real-life scenario. The panel will include six speakers covering the following areas: Environmental Sciences; Veterinary Public Health; Health Systems; Health Promotion/ Communications; Societies and Culture and Research.
