For some reason, I wanted to go to Bald Mountain this morning. Perhaps it's because Genevieve is learning Night on Bald Mountain on the clarinet. Anyway, we were there a bit early and it was a bit cold for good bird activity, but the scenery was fantastic. Sombrero was warm and fallish.

We had a pair of song sparrows at Sombrero Marsh chasing each other and singing constantly through the plum and Russian Olive trees. They just kept going
around and around.
