From the Principal's Desk
In the spring parent survey, you requested an elevation of communication on academic excellence at St. Michael. One of the tools we use to monitor student growth is the NWEA MAP test. This week, parents in second through eighth grade received their child's NWEA results during conferences. Teachers reviewed individual student growth with parents. I would like to share with you our overall school results. They are impressive!
The numbers below are the percentages of students with an overall performance level of average to high.

Our second graders also take the NWEA MAP test, however the results are not published. The focus for these students is on the experience to prepare them for formal testing in the years to come.
I am very proud of the growth and achievements of all our students. In future updates I will share the other ways we evaluate the academic excellence of St. Michael.
Blessings,
