Mandi Pratt-Chapman, associate center director for patient-centered initiatives and health equity at the GW Cancer Center and Aubrey Villalobos, director, cancer control and health equity, recently presented at the Union for International Cancer Control's prestigious biennial World Cancer Congress in Paris, France. Pratt-Chapman presented on GW's patient navigation work and the American Cancer Society cancer survivorship clinical care guidelines she co-authored. She also moderated a panel on evidence-based communication for cancer control that featured Villalobos, who spoke on the GW Cancer Center's technical assistance offerings. Allison Harvey, MPH, CHES, senior manager for health care professional, will be presenting along with several other experts at an upcoming Research to Reality (R2R) seminar on Cancer Caregiving in the Community on November 29.
