When I was in Elementary School I wanted to be a NURSE when I grew up. I attended a Parochial Grammar School in the sixties and our 1st grade nun told the girls we had 3 choices of a career. Teacher, Nurse or Nun. I was 6 years old and made my choice. No regrets! I also fell in love with the white uniform and cap the nurses wore then so I guess it was a fashion decision too!
