The Reverend Charles Carter was born in 1937 in Nashville, TN to Charles and Madrienne Carter. He received a B.A. from Vanderbilt in 1958 and a B.D. from Episcopal Divinity School in 1963.
Father Carter was ordained a Deacon on July 15, 1963 and a Priest on May 1, 1964 by the Right Reverend John Vander Horst.
He served as Rector of St. Paul's, Chestnut Hill from 1984 to 1995; St. Peter's Church, Phoenixville, 1997; and Trinity Church, Coatesville from 2000 to 2011.
