Artist Christopher Polson, whose large format works of art are dramatic and detailed, blending sculptural forms with nature and mythology pulled from the roots of cultural symbolism.  Examples of his work can be seen here

Gross sales for the Friend's Book Sale last month
 amounted to $24,946.34. This money funds educational, cultural, art and music programs for adults and children, as well as museum passes. Thank you to all who came out to support us!

Sunday Hours
We will be open 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. on Sundays beginning the Sunday after Columbus Day and ending prior to Memorial Day.
We will be closed on Monday, October 10th for Columbus Day. 
Looking for computer assistance from a patient and friendly professional without having to buy anything? Need assistance with research, local history, or locating an obituary? Call the reference desk at 978-256-5521 and sign up for a half-hour session with one of our librarians, or send your question to us online at chelmsfordlibrary.org/research-it. We're in your community and we're here to help!

Fall programs for children have begun! We have a storytime for babies and their caregivers on Friday mornings at 10am. Please spread the word that this is a great way to meet other first time parents. We have many storytimes for toddlers and preschoolers as well. 

Stay and Play on Tuesdays includes a story and craft and then lots of time for children ages 1 and up to play with each other and adults to get to know each other.   

PlaySpace on Thursdays has activities designed to bring classic children's stories to life. 

After school programs include STEM activities in our Library Lab, a Lego club, Terrific Tales, and seasonal crafts.

Don't miss our  Spooky Story Contest School age children are encouraged to write a spooky story.  It must be origin al and have a beginning, middle and end.  Prizes will  be awarded for the scariest stories in each age group.  Start Writing!  The deadline for these stories is Saturday, October 15 at 5pm.  Winners will be announced at the Spooky Story Celebration on Saturday, October 29 from 4pm-5pm.
