COLLEGE COUNSELING: Congratulations to seniors Spencer Cook on his acceptance to Ripon College and Hughes Prillaman on his acceptance to the University of Mississippi!!!

This week, students met with admissions representatives from Randolph-Macon College and Roanoke College.

The deadline for the November 5 SAT has passed.  However, it is still possible to sign up for an additional late fee of $28 until October 25th. Note: this is the last SAT offered on campus until the May 6, 2017, test date.

The deadline for the December 10 ACT is November 4. This will be hosted at BRS.

If enough students sign up, an instructor from Kaplan will come to BRS to teach an ACT prep course in the evenings during November and December. Contact Nick Patnaude at  npatnaude@blueridgeschool.com if interested in signing up your son. Note: this course will run only if enough boys sign up.

There could also be another single session SAT study course on November 2. This would be a three-hour session from 7-10 p.m. on November 2 that would cost $150. Payment deadline to the School would be October 28. Note: this course will run only if enough boys sign up.

Dr. Miller has been offering free weekly ACT/SAT prep sessions. Please encourage your sons to attend these sessions. Nick Patnaude  encourages juniors to try both the SAT and the ACT at least once during their junior year.
