CIDM Leases A Building 
We are praising God, as He's provided a  larger facility (a large room that seats 200 & an office space) with electricity to accommodate our CIDM activities. 
Hundreds of young people will grow deeper in their walk with the Lord as we can now facilitate these activities: 

New Life Discipleship bible study every Saturday
Prayer meetings
Nights of Worship
Small group bible studies for men & women 
Purity classes
Evangelistic outreaches
Movie nights
Fellowship gatherings
Office space for our Administrator and bible teachers 
And so much more...

When God Guides,  He Provides
We've been praying for 2 years for God's provision of funding and the right facility to minister more effectively to our growing community of young people.  This past March while in Jacmel, we saw the facility, continued praying,  came to a final lease negotiation and moved in last month.  Already, God is expanding more opportunities to share Christ's love with the spiritually hungry Haitian youth.

Meet Jonil Noel, CIDM's Newest Bible Teacher
God continues to increase our area of reach!  We are now teaching the Bible in 11 public high schools (4 schools just added for new school year).  Due to this large increase, we need more bible teachers.  
We warmly welcome Jonil to our team.  He's just finished 4 years of seminary, graduated at the top of his class, and has a passion for teaching the Word of God.  He's committed to sharing Christ with youth in and out of the classroom.  Thank you, partners,  for your generous support so we can hire qualified bible teachers like Jonil!
Hurricane Updates
We are grateful that as Hurricane Irma hit Haiti earlier this month, the impact was minimal with southern Haiti only experiencing rain, but no damage.   

As we are thankful Hurricane Maria did not touch Haiti, our hearts ache as many Caribbean islands and US cities are suffering from it's aftermath. 
 
Dave & Darlys Bird will go to Puerto Rico to help in the disaster relief efforts for several days.  Please keep the victims of all the recent hurricanes and earthquakes in your prayers.
