Last Friday night, our Mighty Panthers took to the road to face off against Morningside. Minutes before kickoff, it was determined that our starting quarterback Aiden Kuykendall, running back Jeffery Jimena, and slot receiver Devin Williams all would not play due to injury.  With major playoff implications on the line, our Panthers knew regardless of who laced up this was a must win game.  In a game that was led by an amazing defensive line, our men found themselves up 21-8 at the half.  In true number 8 form, Marco Merola ran the second half kick off back for a touchdown, icing the game and securing the Panthers' dream of making the CIF Playoffs.  This Friday in a game that is two years in the making our mighty Panthers will face off against Palos Verdes High School.  With a win, our men will end up the regular season in a three-way tie for second place!!!
