South Shore Chamber of Commerce releases 2030 Housing Report
The South Shore Chamber of Commerce has released its Housing Report for South Shore 2030, a housing report to promote economic growth. The housing strategy is a follow-up to implement South Shore 2030: Choosing Our Future, a multi-year effort dedicated to crafting a comprehensive economic and community development plan for the South Shore. The initiative is focused on bringing jobs to the region and building stronger local communities. The report, underwritten by Rockland Trust, highlights the need for significant new housing and the type of housing needed to grow the South Shore economy.

Williams as Executive Director
Harwich Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors appoints Cyndi Williams as Executive Director, Michael Ulrich President of the Harwich Chamber of commerce made the announcement, Friday September 22, 2017. She has been the Interim Executive Director for the past 6 months.

CCYP announces new Executive Director
Following an extensive search, Cape Cod Young Professionals has announced Lauren Barker as its new Executive Director, effective October 9. Unanimously voted to the position by the Board of Directors, Barker succeeds Ann Van Vleck who stepped down in June to become the Chief Development Officer at the Housing Assistance Corporation
