POPE JOHN PAUL II REGIONAL CATHOLIC ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
New School Year Begins!

PJP II s new administrative team Sarah Kerins, Principal (standing) and Patty Tarquinio, Vice Principal(seated). Mrs. Kerins and Mrs. Tarquinio arrived on July 1st to begin preparations for the new school year.

Summer "Meet & Greets" were held at St. Peter, St. Joseph and Our Lady of the Rosary parishes offering school families and parishioners a chance to meet the new administrative team.

The Hertzog family arrived on the first day of school with their youngest sibling who is starting PreK3!

Students attended the "1st" First Friday mass of the school year, a tradition of the Catholic school experience.

The annual Ice Cream social, sponsored by the H&S Association, brought families together to catch up with old and new friends.

Congratulations St. Peter Parish on the opening of their Celebration Center.

Mr. and Mrs. Coxson, members of Our Lady of the Rosary Parish, were chosen to be honored at the upcoming Gala sponsored by the Foundation  for Catholic Education in Chester County. Thank you for your service and support of Catholic Education!

Coordinated by Mrs. Knezo, over 200 Chromebooks will be deployed to students in grades 6 through 8 this year to complete the integration of
G Suite for Education. Above, students in Mrs. Catanese's class using their Chromebooks.

Alumna Completes Gold Project
Madisyn Miller, PJP II alumna and a sophomore at Bishop Shanahan High School, is in the process of completing her gold project for Girl Scouts. Assisted by fellow troop members and adults, Madisyn constructed and painted three raised bed gardens on the school's campus. The gardens will offer outdoor educational experiences for children in the PreK program, which is open to 3 and 4 year olds. Madisyn must complete 90 hours of service to earn the award. She will visit the PreK classrooms several times this year to teach the children about plants and what they need to grow. Congratulations to Madisyn on this great accomplishment which will also benefit the students at PJP II School!
