The water has come and gone, yet the impact of its devastation persists. Samaritan Counseling Center of Southeast Texas is hosting no-cost, professionally facilitated support groups for our community. Healing begins when we come together with others who are also struggling with the emotional, psychological, and social consequences of the storm that disrupted our area and our lives.

These groups offer a safe environment to share the struggles of recovery including fatigue, the immediate trauma of personal loss and secondhand trauma of seeing loved ones suffer. With the help of each other we can find the hope we need to combat burnout from ongoing stress, grief, loss and the uncertainty of what comes next.
