Dear e-Fisherfolk,
  
   On the road right now with Trout and Birds. A thought that keeps coming up is "Us and Them." Us is Trout. Them is Birds. There's a lot of Us and Them going on in the world today. The thing about Trout and Birds is that it's all us, just different parts of us. The Birds aren't totally Us, but we are definitely a part of Them. Our being Birds has definitely influenced Us. If there was ever a time to see beyond Us and Them, it's now. We're way more than that. Having the contrast of Us and Them in our lives is the most fulfilling thing imaginable. We all bring different qualities to the table and present different experiences. This is probably waxing way too philosophical. We're all in this together and we are better for our differences. Something to keep in mind while some people try to put us in boxes and keep us separate.

   OK, that was a bit of a surprise opener. We try to write what's on our minds. What's on our mind right now is that we're cruising towards Thanksgiving at a rapid pace. We have miles to go before we take our annual Thanksgiving break. Trout and Dana Louise will be at The Burren in Sommerville, MA on Nov 5th.  Birds and Trout will be at World Cafe Live at the Queen in Wilmington, DE on Nov 17th.  On the 18th, Birds will play the Burlap and Bean in Newton Sq. PA. On the 19th, Birds will be at Sanctuary Concerts in Chatham Township, NJ. On the 20th Trout will return to the Sellersville Theater in Sellersville, PA. If you can't make it to these shows, tell a friend who might be able to. This is a good time of year to get in touch with friends. We have a lot to be thankful for. We are grateful to have been playing music for you for more than 40 years. It's a pretty wonderful thing.
