She turned the page and continued reading the story.
 
Minyard's library and the lessons she teaches are a bridge to the future for her students, embracing and implementing the best of the past with the best of the future - in other words, she uses books and technology.

New instruments purchased with the bond
Fine Arts Update
The AISD spent $1.98 million in bond funds this year on musical instruments, uniforms and equipment, the second of five fine arts phases in the 2014 Bond program.
 
AISD upgrades school PA systems with bond funds
Safety, Security and Technology Update
The 2014 Bond program includes PA system upgrades for all AISD campuses.
 
At the outset of the bond program, the AISD technology department developed districtwide PA system standards and has now begun implementing the new standards at all AISD campuses. 

Bond-funded buses help meet growing transportation needs
Transportation
As the AISD grows - introducing new programs and facilities - so does the need for safe and dependable transportation. The 2014 Bond is helping the district meet that need, providing funds to buy 114 buses over five years to replace aging buses.
