It's National Preparedness Month. Is your home and family ready if our area is faced with a disaster or emergency situation? Find preparedness tips, like essentials for your home emergency kit, at
PortlandGeneral.com/Prepare.
Show your Gresham pride and support a local charity with unique t-shirts, sweatshirts, posters, stickers, tote bags and coffee mugs, featuring vintage-style illustrations of key Gresham landmarks. The City's Youth Advisory Committee is selling these items and donating 100% of the profits to the new Boys & Girls Club of Rockwood.

Never take off more than what you leave. Make a cut and wait a day or two and take another cut to reduce the stress and wear and tear on your equipment. The most important fertilization of the year is in the late fall. It improves the root system and allows other minor elements to go to work. When fertilizing, remember that a little bit more often is better than a whole bunch once in awhile.
The holidays are coming up! Have you ordered additional gift cards yet? Gift card providers get slammed during the holidays and may take 6-8 weeks to process a gift card order, so make sure to place your order soon so that you have your cards before the holiday season begins!
