Tomorrow is National Take Back Day!

The Health Care Agency has partnered with local law enforcement and the City of Villa Park to collect expired, unused or unwanted prescription medications as part of "National Take Back Day" this Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Villa Park City Hall.
Results from the 2015 National Survey on Drug Use and Health revealed the most common source for the last prescription pain medication misused by individuals over age 12 to be a friend or relative. Citizens can help prevent this from happening by disposing of unwanted prescription medications at this special event from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Villa Park City Hall located at 17855 Santiago Blvd., Villa Park, CA 92861.

Free Flu Shots in Villa Park
Free seasonal flu shots for adults and children three years of age and older will be offered at Villa Park City Hall on Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Vaccinations are open to the public and will be provided on a first-come first-serve basis. To receive a flu shot, participants should be feeling well on the day of the flu shot, and must complete a brief health screening to ensure they can safely receive a flu vaccine. The flu shot will not be administered to individuals who are pregnant, sick, have a history of Guillain-Barre Syndrome, have had a previous reaction to a flu shot, or are allergic to eggs.

This event is made possible through a partnership between the Orange County Health Care Agency and the City of Villa Park. Villa Park City Hall is located at 17855 Santiago Boulevard, Villa Park, CA 92861.
