KCCD President Hyepin Im Honored with the Lincoln Award for Interfaith Action by Claremont Lincoln University
KCCD  is pleased to share that on November 3, 2016, Claremont Lincoln Universitiy honored President Hyepin Im with the Lincoln Award for  Interfaith Action , given to a leader or an organization committed  to faith-based engagement that includes promoting harmony, social justice, conflict resolution or an awareness of inter-cultural relations.

Hyepin Im, KCCD President, stated, "I am so honored and grateful for this special recognition from Claremont Lincoln University. I receive this award as an inspiration and challenge to do more so that all of God's children will be blessed. I also want to acknowledge our board, staff, funders, donor advisory board, supporters and partners that allow me to carry out the mission of KCCD in faith and community empowerment."

The Lincoln Awards honor visionaries and activists in the areas of Interfaith Action, Social Entrepreneurship and Ethical Leadership who have made a profoundly positive and lasting impact in their communities and who embody The Golden Rule values similar to Claremont Lincoln University.

Two other honorees include 
  • Byron K. Reed of Wells Fargo for the Lincoln Award in Ethical Leadership
  • Cheryl Kunin Fair of KABC-TV for the Lincoln Award in Social Impact
