Accessible Technology: 
Creating Accessible PDFs
 
The Office of Medical Education Research and Development (OMERAD) is pleased to announce that we will be hosting a free seminar for all CHM faculty and staff on Creating Accessible PDFs.
  
The seminar will address questions such as:

  • Why is accessibility important?

  • How are PDF documents made accessible?

  • What makes a PDF accessible?

  • What are the best practices for editing an  existing PDF?
     
It will also provide an overview of existing and new training opportunities around web accessibility, and time for Q&A.

When: Friday, October 6

Where: A-211 East Fee Hall (OMERAD computer lab), East Lansing. 

Time: 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm

Registration to participate in the seminar is required.

Seating is limited to 20 seats.
