New England GROWS Offers Seminars for Hispanic Landscape Professionals

BOSTON, October 27, 2016 - New England GROWS, scheduled for November 30 - December 2 in Boston, has expanded its programming with a seminar series designed for Spanish-speaking landscape professionals and those who work closely with them. Developed in collaboration with the National Hispanic Landscape Alliance (NHLA), the seminar program addresses a wide variety of business topics, including how to manage multi-cultural teams, safety training and leadership development.
 
"Hispanic-American landscape professionals are a growing and influential segment of New England's green industry," said New England GROWS' President, Michelle Harvey of Lakeview Nurseries in Lunenburg, Massachusetts. "We're are pleased to partner with the NHLA to offer programming that supports programs specific to Hispanic-Americans in the commercial horticulture industry."
 
Taught by NHLA instructors, the program includes the following sessions:

GROWS registration options start at just $29 for all three days of the conference, with early registrants realizing the most savings. There is no additional fee to attend the NHLA seminars at GROWS, but seating is limited and advance registration is strongly recommended. Continuing Education Credits from a gamut of other professional organizations are also available at many sessions, including pesticide license recertification.
