PRIMETIME CRAFTY THURSDAY

SEPTEMBER 28

Prime Time has added something new this year! We will meet on the 4th Thursday of each month for an afternoon of crafting (supplies provided). Our first Crafty Thursday is today at noon in Fellowship Hall and we will work on beaded projects (beginner level) including a large bead hat pin, beaded pin, and a beaded spider. Bring a friend!

INVITATION HELP

OCTOBER 1

In order to help us connect with our neighbors around the church, the Go Team is holding a Neighborhood Town Hall and we need your help distributing the invitations. This does not require you to knock on the door or speak to anyone, simply hang a little bag of goodies on each door. The more people we have the faster we can do this. Meet us Sunday, Oct. 1 at 1:30 pm in Fellowship Hall. Call or text Lisa McCLean at (954) 592-0965.

PUMPKIN PATCH

OCTOBER 4-31

Our Pumpkin Patch opens Oct. 4 and volunteers are needed. Profits go to Student Ministry Missions and Warren Willis Camp Scholarships, so contact Lora Irwin to find out ways you can help serve (954) 650-0989.

2018 COSTA RICA MISSION TRIP

DEPOSIT DUE OCTOBER 8

If you are interested in going on the Costa Rica mission trip, please let us know. The trip is January 27 - February 3, 2018, and the cost is $1400. The deadline to sign up is October 8 when a non-refundable deposit of $450 is due. We would love to have you join us! Contact Sam Dull, (724) 493-0224.

CHURCH PICTORIAL DIRECTORY

OCTOBER 11-14 - SCHEDULE YOUR APPT NOW

Wow! With such an incredible response to the pictorial directory, we had to open another week to schedule family (including pets) photos! New dates are Oct. 11-14. Remember, you will get a free 8x10 photo and church directory with the opportunity to purchase additional photos. Note: If you do not get your photo taken, you will not receive a directory. Make your appointment HERE or by visiting the table on the plaza.

HURRICANE RELIEF TRIP TO MARATHON, FL

OCTOBER 13-15

The Keys has so much devastation and loss as a result of Hurricane Irma. A local Emmaus team is making a trip to Marathon Oct. 13-15 and they need more hands. Contact Tony Ash, (954) 326-2177.

WALK FOR LIFE/COLOR RUN

OCTOBER 14

Please consider participating in the Hope Women's Centers' Walk For Life/Color Run on Saturday, October 14 at 5:30pm. All money raised goes to encouraging and equipping women and men to make informed decisions regarding unplanned pregnancies. Information: https://www.friendsofhope.com/event/walk/

FOOD SHARE

First & Third Fridays Every Month

Doors Open 4:30pm

Distribution 5pm-6:30pm

For the month of September, we are requesting cereal, peanut butter, canned fruit and canned vegetables.

Bring your contributions on Sunday and put them in the designated cart.

Volunteers are needed to greet visitors, hand out Bible verses, and/or chaperone the children's table at Food Share (1st & 3rd Fridays of the month at 4:15-6:30pm).
