"Speaking Justice in the Language of Our Faith"
Sermon by Rev. Kathleen McTigue
We are living in troubled times. Fearfulness and uncertainty have provoked calls for us to batten down the hatches and erect as many barriers as possible between "us" and "them". But our faith speaks a different word into these difficult times: it calls us back to the power and possibilities of kinship.

Please plan on staying after the service for a conversation with Rev. McTigue on how UUCSJ and UUCA can work together in the year ahead.

A note from Rev. Aaron
Dear friends - Rev. Kathleen McTigue is one of my personal heroes in life and in ministry.  I want to be just like her when I grow up.  In addition to her splendid preaching, she is an inspiring leader for social change. Her work with the UU College for Social Justice is one of the most promising things happening in our movement right now - so please, come to worship if you can and stay afterwards to meet Rev. Kathleen in person and learn more about what we can do together!
