Photo Release
Please send in your child's photo release form. We take pictures throughout the year for our school Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter pages and we ask that all student images be released so that no students are left out. This week a photographer will be taking pictures of our students to update our website and marketing materials. We thank you for your cooperation!
No School This Friday
Please remember that this Friday is a pupil free day. Students do not have school, but teachers of our deanery will meet for training and collaboration.
We hope our students enjoy the three day weekend and go out to enjoy the warm weather.

Blessing of the Animals and Picture Day
Next Monday, October 2nd, we will celebrate the Blessing of the Animals in honor of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi. Parents are welcomed to bring well-behaved pets to be blessed by Fr. Tony Marti during our Morning Assembly. Fr. Tony is a Franciscan priest from St. Francis High School and he will be celebrating Mass with us right after the Blessing of the Animals.
Students should be in formal uniform because it is a Mass day, and also because we will have Picture Day as well. 8th Graders may wear Dressy Free Dress. (NO jeans or t-shirts. Slacks, shirts and ties for the boys and dresses or slacks and blouses for the girls.)
Note: We will not attend Mass on Wednesday, October 4th.
Fabulous Falcons for the week ending on September 22, 2017-
We are proud of our students who show good behavior and try to make good choices each day.
Falcons Soar!
Last Tuesday, Sister Lisa Valentini of the Missionary Sisters of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus visited our school. Sister sang songs with our students and shared about her missionary work in Haiti and the Dominican Republic. If your child did not tell you about our special visitor, please ask what he/she remembers. Please keep Sr. Lisa and all missionaries in your prayers.
Thanks...
  • Our In-N-Out fundraiser was a big success! Thank you for buying your child the In-N-Out lunch and thanks also to those who were able to take their lunch break with the students here at school. Although the rain was unpredictable, our Parent Board made sure everything ran smoothly and on time. Four hundred thirty burgers in an hour is pretty amazing! Everyone's patience and cooperation is greatly appreciated. Thanks to those parents who posted positive comments on Facebook. The Parent Board works hard to make each event the best it can be!
  • Many of our students have returned their money for the three cases of candy! There is still plenty of time to sell! Thanks for your commitment to helping the school with this first major fundraiser of the year.
  • About half of our families have signed up for the Octoberfest service hours. Please remember to sign up soon. Each family has signed an agreement to serve four hours during the event. Sign up using the link below.

Dominican Corner
The Dominican Sisters of Mission San Jose have established Vision of Hope to support the Dominican inner-city schools in Northern and Southern California. Please watch this video that shares the mission of Vision of Hope and features our school. We are blessed!

Happy Fall!
