The  Maryland Romance Writers  present three days of the latest and greatest in romance fiction including panel discussions, author readings, and how-to advice on topics like "Writing About the Past: Historical Novels," "Crafting Characters," "Books That Thrill: Romance and Suspense," and "How to Self-Publish Like a Boss!"

Check out our local Maryland food and craft beverage vendors who will be catering to the masses all weekend long (Like Ekiben , pictured) Plus, local and national chefs and cookbook authors occupy the Food for Thought Stage with cooking demos using locally sourced ingredients from the Baltimore Farmers' Market & Bazaar!

Music Stage supported by WTMD
Throughout the weekend, talented local and regional bands grace the official music stage of the Baltimore Book Festival supported by WTMD . Friday, don't miss performances from Baltimore City Public School students at 12PM , R&B musician KSTONE4U at 3PM , soul artist Ama Chandra at 4:30PM , and hip-hop soul act J Pope and the HearNow at 6PM . Saturday the music continues with acts from 11:30am to 6:30pm.

Red Emma’s Radical Bookfair Pavilion brings together the best of the left, presenting cutting-edge, uncompromising views on contemporary politics, social theory, and beyond. Friday, don't miss a reading from local poet and writer Kondwani Fidel at 6pm, while Saturday brings the voices of Robyn Spencer, Slangston Hughes , Devin Allen, D. Watkins and more.
