Installation Sunday - School Faculty
The Installation services will be at the 8AM tradition and then again at the 10:30AM service. Come join us as the school faculty recommits themselves to a new year of school focusing on Jesus at the heart of everything we do, challenging academics, and helping to grow the next generation!
Mass Choir Sings @ 10:30 AM Worship Service
Grades K-8, please meet in the school gym at 10:15 a.m. All students will be dismissed to sit with their families after singing. We appreciate and are thankful for your support of our music ministry!
Stay for Maker Fest and lunch at noon (see below).
Maker Fest | 12-2 PM
Christ Lutheran PTL, along with our Children & Youth Ministries, would love to invite you to Maker Fest- a  free  event for families that will include lunch, activities, a photo booth, and even those catchy VBS songs that you still can't get out of your head!

Make-Up Picture Day (K-8)
Did your child miss the original picture day on 9/19? If so, this is your opportunity to get your school portrait taken!

Java in the Plaza | 7:45-8:30am
Let's catch up over coffee! Our coffee cart will be parked on the Plaza, between 7:45 and 8:30 a.m. Stop by and fill your cup with us, enjoy fun conversation and fellowship with parents and staff. 

We welcome you to join us for Chapel at 8:30 a.m.
Noble Knights Awards: Respect
Students Kindergarten through grade 8 will be recognized for demonstrating Christian virtues in commendable ways, in chapel. Noble Knights will be recognized in chapel each month and will be presented with a certificate. Parents are notified, via email, when their child is nominated by their teacher. Check your inbox!

First Recycle Drive of the Year!
Join us in helping to recycle! Your recycled aluminum cans and plastic bottles earns Christ Lutheran School money and saves the environment! The class that gathers the most for the year wins a pizza party in June. Again thanks to everyone for participating, the proceeds from the recycling program helps the Knights Scholarship Fund, let's all work together
to fill the bin by the end of the year!
-Friday, September 29th-
37th Annual Spelling Bee | 1:30pm
Friends and family are invited to come support our un-BEE-lievable 3rd through 8th grade contestants. Finalists and alternates will receive a letter home with their student so check those backpacks!

Christ Lutheran School contestants will compete to participate at the Orange County Lutheran Schools Association Annual Spelling Bee @ Crean Lutheran on October 14, 2017. 
Welcome Back Camp Out | 6pm
This is an all night camp event on our campus that helps raise money for our 8th grade Washington DC trip and for families to sing songs, make s'mores, play games, and so much more! For more information, contact Jenny Jordan at [email protected].

Orange County Children's Book Festival
Join the fun and Christ Lutheran School at the 14th Annual Orange County Children’s Book Festival from 9:30 - 4:00 pm on Sunday, October 1, 2017, at Orange
Coast College.

HELP OUR SCHOOL EARN $$$$
The winning K-8 class will earn a free dress and the winning preschool class will earn a popsicle party! Please place your box tops in the classroom containers or office. Last year we earned $503 for PTL. Let's aim to double that amount this year. The contest will run from October 2 to October 13.
MILK & YEARBOOK FEES
We would like to let families know that if they ordered milk and yearbook, through RenWeb during the enrollment process, it will be billed through FACTS in October. If you have any questions or need to change the billing date, please reach out to our Financial Administrator Kristi Edison.
Agape P.E. Uniforms Have Arrived!!
For the families that have already placed and paid for their order, Mr. McFerran distributed those orders to the students today. If you haven't gotten around to making your payment, please use the PayPal link that Agape Apparel emailed to you. If you haven't received a PayPal request, contact Alan Piercy at (714) 647-1275. Our fabulous PTL stocked the school office with multiple sizes of tops and bottoms! If anyone needs to exchange or purchase an item, please pop in! Price per piece is $8.00/each.
