Do you know the difference between an "Exclusive Right to Sell" (ERTS) listing and an "Exclusive Agency" (EA!) listing? This may sound like a simple question, but it still trips up some brokers. An EA listing means that if the seller finds a buyer on their own, you are not owed a commission. An ERTS listing agreement (preferred by 10 out of 10 broker s polled!) means that regardless of whether the listing broker or the seller finds the buyer, the listing broker is owed a commission. We currently have 260 active Exclusive Agency listings. This caught our attention and makes us wonder if all these listings are accurate or if some brokers made mistakes. We suggest you check all your listings in Rapattoni and, maybe, check your listing paperwork to make sure your listings are as you really intended.

Mortgage Giant Expands 3% Down Loans
Fannie Mae announced this week that it would expand its
HomeReady program, which includes 3 percent down payment loans. It is extending the 3 percent down mortgage to eligible refinancers who have loans already owned by Fannie Mae.

NAR will host the REALTOR® Party Post-Election Live Webcast on November 9, 2016 at 3 PM EDT. During this live webcast, NAR Senior Vice President Jerry Giovaniello and NAR Political Consultant Doug Sosnik will explain the impact of the election results at the federal, state and local levels.
